EIMA is a national non-profit technical trade association comprised of leading suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, contractors, architects, manufacturers and suppliers, and other interested parties involved in the EIFS industry. EIMA plans and implements research and testing programs, develops industry guideline specifications for EIFS, and presents at technical symposiums.
“Venture is dedicated to innovation and education and maintaining the industry’s leading memberships. Methods of sustainability and energy conservation are critical elements in construction and restoration,” says Stephen Shanton, CEO and president of Venture Construction Group.
EIFS is a non-load bearing, exterior wall cladding system that consists of an insulation board attached either adhesively or mechanically, or both, to the substrate; an integrally reinforced base coat; and a textured protective finish coat. EIFS with drainage helps to eliminate moisture before it has an opportunity to enter the wall cavity. EIFS today are one of the most tested and well researched claddings in the construction industry.
