Nationally recognized construction and restoration company supports numerous charities

Fairfax, Va. – Venture Construction Group, national leader in residential and commercial construction, renovations, insurance restoration, and 24/7 emergency services, sponsors numerous charitable events, nonprofit organizations and foundations during their 2015 annual corporate giving campaign. Charities include ALS Association Greater Philadelphia chapter, ALS Association Greater Chicago chapter, the Robert Packard Center for ALS Research at Johns Hopkins, Luke’s Wings, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Susan G. Komen and more. Charitable events and Venture Construction Group corporate sponsorships will take place throughout the country throughout northern Virginia and Fairfax County; the Greater Mid-Atlantic Region; the Midwest; and the D.C. metro area.

“I love the storm repair and insurance restoration business because it allows me to help people rebuild after disaster strikes. I have the same passion for life and my business. Work with passion, give with passion, and always take the time to help others,” says Steve Shanton, CEO and founder of Venture Construction Group.

In addition to providing construction, renovation and restoration services, Venture Construction Group helps property owners recover quickly after storm events such as hail, tornadoes, hurricanes, wind, fire and flood. Giving back to philanthropic charities is also an integral part of the company’s mission.

“Our company mission is to help people in need. Philanthropic giving is an absolute must. My dad passed away from ALS in 2012, he was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and always instilled in me a sense of the importance of giving back,” says Shanton.

A huge advocate for ALS research, Venture Construction Group is sponsoring numerous ALS charitable events throughout the country, including the Fiesta 5K Run for ALS Research in Baltimore, Maryland on May 2, 2015; the ALS Express-Ride to Defeat ALS in New Jersey on May 30, 2015; and the ALS Classic Golf Tournament on September 9, 2015 in Greater Chicago, Illinois. ALS, often called Lou Gehrig’s disease, is a motor neuron disease. Monies raised go to the ALS Associations to treat and cure ALS through global research and nationwide advocacy while also empowering people with Lou Gehrig’s Disease and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support.

Venture Construction Group sponsored Luke’s Wings 4th Annual Heroes Gala on April 11, 2015 at the Ritz-Carlton in Washington, D.C. In addition to the corporate event sponsorship, Shanton hosted a warrior veteran and guest to attend the gala. The annual fundraiser raises monies to provide complimentary travel services for wounded service members and their loved ones.

Venture Construction Group sponsored the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Walk MS in Raleigh, North Carolina, on April 11, 2015. Sponsorships help the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to drive research for a cure and to address the challenges of everyone affected by multiple sclerosis. Last year alone, the Society invested nearly $50 million to support more than 380 new and ongoing research projects around the world while providing program services to over one million people.

Venture Construction Group is sponsoring the Susan G. Komen Philadelphia Race for the Cure on May 10, 2015. The Susan G. Komen organization educates, supports research, and offers grants that provide financial and emotional assistance and advocacy for better breast cancer policy. In 2013, Komen funded over $49.5 million in new research alone.
